francis goodman

not many people will know francis goodman but he was a celebrated photographer, a friend and contemporary of francis bacon, lucian freud and cecil beaton amongst many others. he was also a friend of mine when i first moved to london.  i photographed him in his knightsbridge flat shortly before he died.
