test print
Test printing with a new material that, to my knowledge, has never been used in relation to photography. As always, no photoshop tweaking. Just scanned as is.

Thank you to 'Don't Take Pictures' for including a part of my Dylan series of polaroids in their recent show, 'Instamatic'.

Lost Love SMBH Magazine
I feel honoured to have this piece, 'Unsent, unopened, unread', feature in
SMBH Magazine's group show, 'Lost Love'. I'm in the company of the sort of
photographers I admire who tell complicated stories in ways that appear
ordinary (but, of course, are not). Read the captions to their work.
All memorable and ring so true.

new print
Because of the notebooks, I haven't been working on much printing recently.
After many trials and failures, I'm pleased with this. A day with my son; him sitting
by the water, lost in himself but overhearing conversations probably better unheard.
(35mm cine film. Debris. Time. No photoshop.)

collaboration
I found a roll of negatives left under my sofa by a visitor which I have cropped randomly and 're-processed' my own way with 35mm cine film. Printed as found. No photoshop edits or tweaks.

photographers' sketchbooks / photo eye
"(Other books) have poked holes in the paradigm of perfection. With Photographers' Sketchbooks the piƱata has been busted wide open. This book samples the drafts and sketchbooks (a euphemism for goal-driven scrapbook?) of 43 contemporary photographers from a wide range of backgrounds, locations and styles. Some, like Jim Goldberg, Alec Soth, and Michael Wolf, are quite well known. Others have a much smaller fan-base. Regardless of notoriety, very little of this material has been published before." Thanks to Blake Andrews at Photo Eye for this generous review of Photographers' Sketchbooks.
